Description
It is a by-product resulting from obtaining oil from sunflower seeds. Depending on the origin, the flour can be with or without husk, so the protein and fiber content varies. The product is pelleted.
Application
Due to its relatively high fiber content, it is an interesting ingredient for ruminants and monogastrics. If combined with an adequate level of forage, it can contribute to an improvement in the quantity of milk production and fat in dairy cows.
